Characteristics FBS High Performance

• Fetal bovine serum (FBS), origin US, South America, Australia
• A defined addition of growth components allows the reduction of serum content while maintaining or even improving culture characteristics.
• Use FBS High Perfomance at the same concentration as before.
  The serum must not be heat-inactivated.

Advantages

• Low batch variability reduces time and cost of complex assays
• Validated in various standard cell lines
• Quality tests include sterility, pH, osmolality, proteins (total, albumins, globulins), hemoglobin, mycoplasma and viruses, endotoxin content
• Lower serum content is a contribution to animal welfare
