Bio&SELL offers loading buffers with the dye Orange G or with bromophenol blue. They are separately available or in combination with a marker (marker "separate loading dye").
Loading buffer with Orange G
The 6-fold concentrated loading buffer contains the tracking dye Orange G. Orange G migrates approximately at the level of a 50 bp fragment on a 1% agarose gel.
Loading buffer with bromophenol blue
The 6-fold concentrated loading buffer contains the tracking dyes bromophenol blue and xylene cyanol. Bromophenol blue migrates approximately at the level of a 300 bp DNA frag- ment; xylene cyanol at the level of a 4 kb DNA fragment.
Tips for use: Use same concentrations of loading buffer for markers and samples.
Example: Mix 1 μl of 6x loading buffer with 5 μl of your sample and 5 μl of your marker (5:1).
