DPBS

Dulbecco's Phosphate Buffered Saline (DPBS) is an aqueous salt solution that can be used as a diluent, reference solution or for washing cells. By formulating different salts, DPBS maintains the osmotic pressure of the human organism (isotonic). DPBS is often used in cell culture as it supplies the cells with water and inorganic ions necessary for cell metabolism. Our DPBS contains neither Ca2+ or Mg2+ nor phenol red. We offer DPBS as a solid or in dissolved form.
