D-PBS

Dulbecco's Phosphate Buffered Saline (D-PBS) is an aqueous salt solution that can be used as a diluent, reference solution or for washing cells. By formulating different salts, D-PBS maintains the osmotic pressure of the human organism (isotonic). D-PBS is often used in cell culture as it supplies the cells with water and inorganic ions necessary for cell metabolism. Our D-PBS contains neither Ca2+ or Mg2+ nor phenol red. We offer D-PBS as a solid or in dissolved form.
