5x PCR-MM "ready-to-load"
For direct visualisation by agarose gel electrophoresis!
Our 5x PCR-Mastermix ‘ready to load’ is an optimised, ready-to-use solution for polymerase chain reactions (PCR) with subsequent visualisation by agarose gel electrophoresis. The PCR-Mastermix is 5x concentrated and contains all components for an efficient PCR (polymerase, reaction buffer, MgCl2 and dNTPs) in optimal concentration. All you have to do is add your desired template DNA, primer and water and you can start immediately.
Our master mix also contains blue + yellow dye for the identification of DNA fragments by agarose gel electrophoresis. The Mastermix can be used directly and conveniently for loading an agarose gel (‘ready-to-load’).
Our 5x PCR Mastermix contains Tween-20. If a detergent-free buffer system is required, please contact us.
Good to know
The blue dye migrates in a 1% agarose gel at the same speed as 3.5 - 4.5 kb DNA fragments. Whereas the yellow dye migrates at about the level of the primers (< 35 - 45 bp).
Do not use our 5x PCR-Mastermix ‘ready-to-load’ for applications with subsequent spectrophotometric measurements (absorbance or fluorescence measurements), as the two dyes may interfere with these applications.
