Leibovitz‘s L-15 Medium

Leibovitz's L-15 medium was developed for cell cultivation in environments without CO2 stabilization. This cell culture medium contains phosphates and a high content of free amino acids as a buffer system in contrast to the generally used buffer substance sodium hydrogen carbonate. Leibovitz's L-15 medium is ideally suited for the proliferation of HEP-2 monkey kidney cells, human nerve cells and primary cells of embyronal or adult human tissue explants.
