50 bp DNA Marker

50 bp DNA marker is a reference ladder composed of DNA fragments that is used in gel electrophoresis to estimate the size of unknown DNA fragments.

• 14 bands: 50 bp to 1,000 bp
• Exact sizing
• Relative quantification
• All fragments have blunt ends
• Reinforced 250 and 500 bp bands (reference bands)

Application: Use 5 µl of the DNA marker per gel bag.

1. 50 bp DNA marker - without loading buffer: The DNA marker is sold without loading buffer. A loading buffer is still required to load the gel. We offer loading buffers with the dyes bromophenol blue (article no.: BS85.112.005) or Orange G (article no.: BS85.111.010).
   
   
2. 50 bp DNA Marker - with separate loading buffer: The DNA marker and a 10-fold concentrated loading buffer with bromophenol blue are included. For best results, we recommend mixing the DNA marker and the samples to be analyzed with the loading buffer.
   
   
3. 50 bp DNA Marker “ready-to-load”: The DNA Marker is dissolved in 1x concentrated loading buffer with bromophenol blue. The DNA Marker is available in an optimal concentration for quick and easy loading of the agarose gel: “simply load and run”.
