RT-qPCR SYBR® Green Rox has been optimized for quantitative, real-time analysis of RNA templatesusing the dye SYBR® Green (λexc 494 nm, λem 521 nm). The kit combines reverse transcription (RT) of template RNAs with a subsequent quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) in a single reaction tube (One-Step). Our One-Step Mix thus achieves the simplest feasibility, time savings and a reduced risk of contamination, which contributes to maximum reproducibility of your experiments. RT-qPCR SYBR® Green Rox is suitable for the absolute quantification of RNA (also for GC- and AT-rich RNA templates), for relative gene expression analysis and for the detection of low copy genes.
RT-qPCR SYBR® Green Rox contains a thermostable, highly active M MuL V reverse transcriptase in combination with an RNase inhibitor, which allows efficient cDNA synthesis. A highly sensitive hot-start Taq polymerase achieves high sensitivity and specificity under standard qPCR as well as under very fast qPCR conditions. For real-time detection of qPCR our kit uses the dye SYBR® Green. The dye intercalates with double-stranded DNA and provides strong fluorescent signals without detectable inhibition of the PCR. SYBR® Green is compatible with all common real-time cyclers.
Our kit contains all necessary reagents for the synthesis of high-quality cDNA and quantitative real-time PCR (except RNA template and primer). Our kit also contains the reference dye Rox.
