Coon‘s F-12 Medium

Coon's F-12 is a formulation of Ham's Nutrient Mixture F-12 (Ham's F-12) modified by Hayden G. Coon. The cell culture medium contains twice the standard concentration of amino acids and pyruvate as well as modified salt concentrations and ascorbic acid. Coon's F-12 was specially developed for the cultivation of hybrid cells resulting from viral fusions.
