Calf serum - newborn

Our calf serum is obtained from newborn (3-10 day old) calves and can be used as a high-quality alternative for fetal bovine serum (FBS).

Newborn calf serum (NBCS) contains more immunoglobulins than fetal bovine serum (FBS) and has a higher protein content. As the animals are already larger and more serum can be obtained, NBCS is a cost-effective alternative to FBS.
