D-Glucose

D-glucose is a naturally occurring carbohydrate and is also known as dextrose or glucose. D-glucose is the most common natural monosaccharide and is involved in cellular processes such as energy production, glycosylation and the formation of glycans. D-glucose therefore serves cultured cells not only as an energy source, but also for stabilization. Our D-glucose solution is commonly used to replenish and maintain cellular glucose concentration, as a supplement for cell culture and in molecular biology applications.

Our D-glucose solution has a concentration of 250 g/L and has been formulated in water (cell culture quality).
