100 bp DNA Marker

100 bp DNA marker is a reference ladder composed of DNA fragments that is used in gel electrophoresis to estimate the size of unknown DNA fragments.

• 12 bands: 100 bp to 1,500 bp
• Exact sizing
• Relative quantification
• All fragments have blunt ends
• Reinforced 500 bp band (reference band)

Application: Use 5 µl of the DNA marker per gel bag.

1. 100 bp DNA Marker - without loading dye: The DNA marker is sold without loading dye. A loading dye is still required to load the gel. We offer loading dye with the dyes bromophenol blue (article no.: BS85.112.005) or Orange G (article no.: BS85.111.010).
   
   
2. 100 bp DNA Marker - with separate loading buffer: The DNA marker and a 10-fold concentrated loading buffer with bromophenol blue are included in the scope of delivery. For optimal results, we recommend mixing the DNA marker and the samples to be analyzed with the loading buffer.
   
   
3. 100 bp DNA Marker “ready-to-load”: The DNA Marker is dissolved in 1x concentrated loading buffer with bromophenol blue. The DNA Marker is available in an optimal concentration for quick and easy loading of the agarose gel: “simply load and run”.
